STEM ACADEMY

Summer STEM Academy brought together seventh-grade students from all 13 GEAR UP RISE partner middle schools across Imperial Valley for an exciting four-day experience at Imperial Valley College. Through hands-on STEM challenges, interactive workshops, college exploration, and team-building activities, students discovered new interests, built valuable skills, and gained inspiration for their future college and career journeys.

WEB Spring Play Day & Leader Training brought together student leaders from GEAR UP RISE Meadows Union school for a day of leadership development, collaboration, and team building. Through interactive activities and hands-on training, students strengthened their leadership skills, built meaningful connections, and prepared to create welcoming and inclusive school communities for the upcoming school year.

GEAR UP RISE Kick-Offs marked the exciting start of the school year as our team kicked off the program on all 13 partner middle schools across Imperial Valley. Students, parents and educators learned about the opportunities available through GEAR UP RISE, including STEM experiences, college and career exploration, leadership development, and family engagement, while building excitement for a successful year ahead.

Counselor & Teacher Professional Development provided educators from GEAR UP RISE partner schools with valuable strategies, resources, and tools to support student success. Through collaborative learning and meaningful discussions, participants strengthened their knowledge of college and career readiness, student engagement, and best practices for creating positive learning experiences.
