On March 15, 2017, California launched a field test of the California School Dashboard, an easy-to-use online tool for navigating the state’s groundbreaking new accountability and continuous improvement system. The Dashboard is the next step in series of major shifts in public education, changes that have raised the bar for student learning, transformed testing and put the focus on equity.

The Dashboard helps schools and districts build on successes and focus on challenges. As an accountability tool, the Dashboard helps the state identify schools and districts needing targeted interventions to improve.

California’s future depends on tapping into the potential of all students, so they graduate ready for college, careers and life!
