    Heber – With a pep in his step and a permanent grin on his face, Eric Licea briskly walks the hallways at Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE) with an enthusiasm for work and life.  Hired three years ago as a Custodian, Eric’s shift starts at 6am and a typical day has lots of variety.  This suits the Calexico native just fine as he enjoys the interaction with other ICOE staff.

  • Summer Hours
    Imperial County - Many of the programs at Imperial County Office of Education are observing Summer Hours from June 11 - August 10.  Most of our offices will be open from 7am till 6pm each day Monday - Thursday and we'll be closed on Fridays. So, long days and long weekends all summer long.   However, some programs and departments may have a different schedule so confirm with them if you have a question.  Thanks and have a great summer!

  • Barbara McAndrews, ICOE Teacher of the Year
    El Centro –The Association of California School Administrators (ACSA) local chapter here in Imperial County recently released the list of this year’s Teachers of the Year, and Imperial County Office of Education’s Barbara McAndrews is on the list to be honored at a May 17th dinner in El Centro.
