As a division member of Technology Services, the Application Development department develops, manages, and supports software applications offered to our local and statewide business and education technology communities. Our goal is to provide modern services and creative solutions to the K-12 community using agile software development methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Our teams offer a variety of web applications using open source and enterprise-level technologies that allow us to deliver value to our internal and external customers frequently and successfully.
Our business application development team develops and manages the Imperial County Schools Information Systems platform. Also known as ICSIS (ike-sys), our feature-rich business application provides financial, payroll, and HR services that are critical to our 16 Imperial County school districts, 2 charter schools, Imperial County Office of Education, and Imperial Valley College.

Our education technology application development team continuously develops and manages various local and statewide web applications. A few notable products include MyTechDesk (work order management for California schools), K20Video (video conference scheduling for California schools), and Datalink (statewide connectivity data management for K12HSN). The team also builds custom website content management systems that allow ICOE and its projects to make information readily available to customers and stakeholders.
