- ICOE Releases Report to the Community ICOE is pleased to release its Report to the Community for 2020-2022. While the past couple of years have been tremendously challenging, there have been remarkable examples of resilience in our community. This year’s Report to the Community highlights how the Imperial County Office of Education has led the community through the pandemic, addressed pressing community needs, and protected those we serve.
- Children’s Fair Returns to Rolling Hills of Bucklin Park 41st Event Brings Entertainment and Education to El Centro, Thanks to CAP Council and Friends One of El Centro’s most time-honored traditions, the 41st Children’s Fair, made its return to the rolling hills of Bucklin Park on Saturday, April 2.
- Deputy Superintendent Amanda Brooke to Retire from ICOE Imperial County – The Imperial County Office of Education (ICOE) announced on April 4, 2022 that Deputy Superintendent Amanda Brooke will be retiring effective June 30 of this year.

- With the correct spelling of the word “posthaste,” 14-year-old Daniel became the 2022 county regional champ. He will be representing Imperial County at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in Washington, D.C. this June 2, 2022. Way to go, Daniel! The Foundation for Education is committed to sending Daniel, our new Imperial County’s Spelling Bee Champion to compete in the National Scripps Spelling Bee in Washington DC.
