School-Based Mental Health Elementary & Middle School Consortium

TK-12 School-Based Mental Health Consortium

Mission

The TK-12 School-Based Mental Health Consortium is committed to building a coordinated, countywide system of high-quality, equitable mental health services that supports the academic, social, and emotional well-being of all students in Imperial County. Through strong cross-agency collaboration, expanded access to credentialed school-based mental health professionals, and the implementation of evidence-based practices aligned with the American School Counselor Association National Model, the Consortium strives to ensure every student and family receives timely, responsive, and culturally supportive care. By investing in recruitment, retention, professional development, and seamless referral systems, we empower schools to recognize and respond effectively to student mental health needs while fostering safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
