Greetings!
As we continue to work together to bring common protocol to our school community, our next step is to bring the folks from the I Love You Guys Foundation back for a two-day functional exercise focused on school reunification. A successful reunification will be a critical component of a well-executed response to a critical incident.
From their website –
One critical aspect of crisis response is accountable reunification of students with their parents or guardians in the event an unexpected release is necessary. The Standard Reunification Method provides school and district safety teams, public safety, and emergency managers proven methods for planning, practicing and achieving a successful reunification.
The two full training days are intended for those folks in your districts, schools, and communities that will help implement the protocol at your sites and train additional personnel (school administrators, safety personnel, M&O, IT, food services, First Responders, and other community partners).
Continental breakfast and working lunch will be provided both days.
Regards,
