Innovation Day

School districts across the country are partici-pating in a national “Digital Learning Day” for the first time on February 1st. ICOE curriculum and technology departments have teamed up with Apple Education and other partners to host the first ever “Innovation Day” seminar for school leaders.
 

The seminar will feature Stephanie Hamilton, Apple Education Director, Dr. David Haglund, Riverside USD Education Director, and Kathy Shirley, Escondido USD Technology Director.

Through efforts like these we hope to highlight resources, build collaborative efforts, and maximize the potential of technology in the classroom. Our hopes are to engage students with the tools to succeed in college, career and in life as well as promote the use of digital media to improve teaching and learning in the classroom for all students.
