Migrant Education
Welcome to Imperial County Migrant Education Region VI
The commitment of Imperial County Migrant Education Program in Region VI is to serve and help migrant parents to be effectively involved in the education of their children by becoming partners in our schools for the successful academic preparation of their children so the children can earn high school diplomas that can provide them with the tools to get a higher education and have other employment options in life.
To better serve our migrant families and their children, Region VI offers several components that can expand the opportunities for our migrant students' academic success; such as the following:
- Medical/dental/optical services
- Educational support
- College preparation support
- Enriching educational outdoor experiences
These are a few of the services that our Imperial County Migrant Education Region VI offers in addition to advocacy, academic guidance and support to all our migrant students. Let me add that our Imperial County Migrant Education Region VI personnel are very proud and honored to represent our migrant families and children.
