Overview

GEO provides programs with evaluation services to achieve maximum program results for target populations and assist with funder reporting requirements. GEO is external to departments and programs that offer services to students, teachers, districts and the community in Imperial County.  GEO’s role does not include program operation. Thus, GEO is able to perform objective analyses of program data and information.
 

Available Services

Evaluation personnel has the capacity to:

  • Conduct evaluations of projects and programs.
  • Review proposals and existing projects to recommend appropriate evaluation designs.
  • Assist in clarifying project objectives, activities, and data collection procedures.
  • Coach project personnel in conducting their own evaluations of projects.
  • Assist in maximizing the use of evaluation results to continuously improve programs and systems.
  • Pursue quantifiable positive changes for students served.
