Overview

The Resource and Referral Program is dedicated to maximizing child care options available in the Imperial County. Our program:
  • Recruits, trains and assists family child care providers in becoming licensed.
  • Provides workshops for licensed and exempt child care providers on a number of early childhood topics.
  • Provides free referrals for child care and other family-related services.
  • Produces a newsletter, children's programs, and conferences
  • Maintains a toy lending library.
  • Co-sponsors the Imperial County's annual Children's Fair.
  • Provides leadership support and guidance to parents and the child care community.
  • Offers parenting classes to parents enrolled in child care payment programs.
