AB 1542 encourages diverse representation on the Early Care & Education Planning Council while maintaining a balance of different interests. The composition of the Council is grouped into the following five membership categories:

20%  Consumers of Child Care

20%  Child Care Providers

20%  Community Representatives

20%  Public Agency Representative

20%  Discretionary Appointees
