Center Based Programs

The ICOE Early Care and Education Program provides quality, affordable and accessible child development services for income eligible families. Services can be obtained if the parent is working, going to school, in training or because the parent would like for their child to have a preschool experience before the child enters elementary school. We operate two types of child care programs the General All Day Child Care Program and the State Preschool Program, and each program type has its own eligibility requirements.

General All Day Child Care Program

This program was designed to meet the needs of families who are working, attending college, or participating in a vocational training program.  In order for families to be eligible for this program, families must meet the need and income criteria.  Room To Grow Infant/Toddler/Preschool/School Age Child Care serves children ages  2 to 12 years of age.  The center is located on 474 South Palm Avenue in Brawley.  The hours of operation are Monday through Friday, from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm.


State Preschool Program

This preschool program is a part time program designed for families with four year old children who need support with school readiness skills. Our State Preschool sites are located on elementary schools, which offer participating children a smooth  transition into the kindergarten program. In order to qualify for this program, families must meet the income guideline.  The State Preschool program operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 am-11:30 am & 12:30 am-3:30 am at the following locations:
