Overview
SB 472, Professional Development, is a legislation designed as a reimbursement program to provide funding for the state-approved professional development of teachers. SB 472 is categorized into three developmental areas which include:
2009-2010 SB 472 Summer Institute
The annual 5-day SB 472 Language Arts and Mathematics Institute will include intensive professional development in reading/language arts and mathematics instructional materials for K-12 teacher at participating Imperial County school districts. Teachers will recieve and in-depth study in english/language arts and mathematics that will be instrumental in their career as an educator and the academic success of their students.
