College-Going Initiative

Working together with all interested parties (parents, students, colleges, high schools, middle schools, elementary schools and intersegmental agencies) to formalize leadership for a collaborative, comprehensive, regional approach to promote a college-going culture to increase the number of students graduating from our Imperial Valley high schools who are qualified to attend a four-year university.  Moreover, this increase in qualified students, along with an increase in the knowledge they posess about what it takes to be successful in college, will result in a greater number of Imperial Valley students actually attending four-year universities.
