This professional development grant links distance school districts in rural areas using video conferencing to share lesson plans and local culture that teachers can use in the classroom. Susan Patrick is the former Director of Education Technology for the U.S Department of Education and the current President and CEO of the North American Council for Online Learning. In addition to videoconferencing, participants use Elluminate for presentations, data sharing and training sessions. |
