Students, parents and educators can now tune into ICEN Channel 61 for help with specific math problems and questions. MATHVISION is a television show and phone-in mathematics homework helpline for the students, teachers, and parents of San Diego County and Imperial Counties. The intended audience of the show is primarily 6th through 9th grade students, although anyone calling-in with a mathematics problem will receive assistance. |

MATHVISION combines the benefits of one-on-one phone tutoring with the ability of the televised portion of the show to provide modeling of effective mathematics instruction. The six toll-free tutoring phone-lines are staffed by certified mathematics teachers on Wednesdays and Thursdays from 3pm to 6pm during the school year. Three additional mathematics teachers provide televised on-air instruction broadcast over ICEN Channel 61 from 4pm to 5pm on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
