It’s free!
That’s right – there’s absolutely no cost to you, your school or your district. The service is provided by Learning Technologies.

It’s easy!
Moodle is a web-based application, which means you and your students can access it any time, day or night, from any computer with a connection to the Internet. There are no separate programs to install. If you can use word processing, you can use Moodle.

It’s a powerful way to increase levels and quality of classroom communication!
With Moodle, teachers have a password protected classroom on the Internet. Its functionality includes:

  • Announcements: Daily and weekly announcements can be posted to the page.
  • Assignments: You can provide parent access to confirm that their child "wasn’t assigned any homework tonight." You can post documents such as PowerPoint presentations, include Unitedstreaming videos that were used in instruction. This is an effective way to help those that were absent or those that want to review the day’s instruction.
  • Grade Book: Grade checks are fast, easy and accurate.
  • Forums: Using this function, teachers can continue classroom discussion within the security of their password protected electronic classroom.
  • Drop Box: Students can turn in assignments. Likewise, they can retrieve assignments that have been corrected and graded.
  • Testing: You can post quizzes and tests that are automatically graded and posted to the grade book. You can control the number of retakes and other access functions.

Sound good?
